Modern Mold & Tool based in Pittsfield, MA is the injection molding arm of Toner Plastics. We offer comprehensive injection molding service including part design, prototyping, mold building and repair, sampling, and full-scale molded parts production, all of which is done in house made easy with a single point of contact for the customer for any size project.
Anchored by our Modern Mold & Tool division, Toner Plastics is one of the most capable injection molding manufacturing companies in the Northeast. The products we injection mold include medical devices, plastic beads for the craft market, retail point of purchase displays, organizer boxes, and plastic spools. We make many of our own proprietary products that are found on the shelves of national retailers such as Walmart and Hobby Lobby. This breadth of manufacturing experience allows us to provide our customers with services that cater to their specific needs.
Our combined injection molding capacity at our 3 East Coast injection molding sites includes over 50 presses ranging from 15 to 850 tons.

Modern Mold & Tool in Pittsfield, MA is the custom injection mold making and molding arm of the Toner Plastics group and services many high-tech industries such as medical, aerospace, automotive, and defense. Our primary focus is making medical components in a clean room environment, but we pride ourselves as a custom molder of many other products. Shown here is a picture of Modern Mold South located in Ormond Beach, Florida which is purpose-built with clean room capability to service our medical customers locally. At The Beadery in Hope Valley, Rhode Island we also injection mold several of our own proprietary products such as plastic craft beads and organizer boxes, working primarily with retailers, wholesalers and distributors.
