Position Summary
We are seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to join our senior leadership team and drive sales growth by building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Modern Mold & Tool’s advanced manufacturing capabilities. This role is ideal for a professional with technical expertise in manufacturing – specifically injection molding – and a passion for new business development.
Responsibilities
- Generate and Qualify Leads: Develop effective lead generation strategies and qualify leads to ensure viability and alignment with company capabilities.
- Prepare and Deliver Competitive Quotes: Collaborate with internal teams to create accurate and compelling proposals that meet customer requirements while aligning with company goals.
- Negotiate and Close Sales: Lead contract negotiations, addressing client needs and objections to secure profitable new business.
- Manage the Sales Pipeline: Manage and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate forecasting, and achievement of revenue targets.
- Contribute to Strategic Initiatives: Provide market insights, customer feedback, and sales performance data to support strategic planning and decision-making at the organizational level.
- Sales Management. Direct sales team and develop manufacturers reps.
Qualifications
- Proven sales success in the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Self driven, well-organized, and hard-working.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Technical understanding of injection molding processes and materials.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to meet customers and attend industry events.
- Sales management experience.
